For the immediate attention of all new novelists and non-fiction writers

Welcome to Author's Guardian

Forget indifferent literary agents who stand in your way. The breakthrough Authors Guardian program now places your manuscript or book idea directly into the hands of the editors at top publishing companies who are most likely to be interested in your offering. This is NOT a self-publishing scheme; this is about real publishers and real publishing contracts. Isn’t this just what you’ve been looking for?

As new novelists have learned the hard way, it’s easy to gather a hundred or more rejections from couldn’t-care-less literary agents without any of them having actually read more than maybe a couple of pages of the author’s manuscript. Months, maybe years, down the drain with a bored shrug. These agents say you can’t get published without them, but I’m proof that they’re wrong. My name is Harvey Reese (check me out on Amazon or see some of my books here). I’m no writing genius, but I’ve had five of my own books published by a world-class publisher without a traditional agent. I know how it’s done. I know how to reach the publishers’ editors and I know how to get their attention.

I’ve made a business of reaching people they say you can’t and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have the same advantage. Authors aren’t greedy; they just want a fair hearing from the editors who make the decisions. Your manuscript will never get published unless it’s read by someone who can say, “yes.” And now finally, here’s the Authors Guardian program that works to make that happen.

Publishers Bypass Literary Agents to Discover Best Seller Talent

Cutting out the middlemen of the literary world can lead to the discovery of the unknown top selling authors of tomorrow

By Dalya Alberge

Publishers are beating literary agents at their own game, seeking out new talent for themselves and cutting out the industry’s middlemen. Harper Collins, Little Brown, Tinder Press and others are inviting “un-agented submissions”, marking a dramatic cultural shift for an industry having to readjust. Waiting for manuscripts to pass through agents is considered antiquated in today's fast moving...

THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN!

As this Guardian article suggests, the agent’s role is disappearing in today’s environment as publishers are now reaching out themselves. That’s where we come in; we edit, polish and format your manuscript, create a compelling presentation, and place the material directly in the hands of carefully researched editors who are looking to make deals for books like yours.

HERE’S HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

#

Step One: Editor Consultation

At the outset, you will be assigned one of our talented editors who will stay with you through the entire process to learn what your book is about, what makes it special, and how to persuasively convey that message to the publishers’ editors most likely to be interested. And if your editor can help make the manuscript even better along the way, that would be great too.

#

Step Two: 30 Page Review

Next, your editor will burnish your book to its maximum potential by going over the first 30 pages (the number included in the initial presentation to publishers), word-by-word, line-by-line. Your editor will make spelling, usage and grammatical corrections, offer writing changes where applicable and format the material in the accepted professional manner. If the publisher requests to see additional pages, they will first also be put through the same rigorous editorial treatment, up to the entire book. If your idea instead is for a non-fiction book yet to be written, the proposal content will be similarly addressed.

Step Three: Custom Book Cover

Next, as part of the proposal package, our artists will create an impressive, full color proposed book cover depicting the book’s essential theme, with your title and your name emblazoned on it. Inventors make prototypes to show what their invention will look like; shouldn’t authors do the same? Amazingly, no one take the trouble. We do because we know it works. Even our unique submissions packet box is designed to boldly command the editor’s attention.

Things to Consider for your Cover:

- Overall Theme of Story
- Recurring Objects/Characters
- The Genre and Target Audience

#

Step Four: Submission to Publishers

Next, we search through all the publishers in the industry and select the best twenty-five of them who we believe would most likely be interested in your manuscript; a rich blend of top companies and immerging smaller ones with focused interests. The publishing world is very dynamic with editors coming and going. By continual research we are able to track these changes to know who is where at any time. When your material is ready to be submitted to these twenty-five houses, we know exactly who should see it. Accompanying the material, your editor will hand-write a compelling personal letter to each of the publishers’ editors by name that will introduce your book, tell what it’s about, and offer persuasive reasons why it deserves their attention. To help direct your material to the right individual, it’s delivered by signed-for FedEx instead of ordinary mail. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. Also, since some publishers aggressively refuse to look at paper submissions, all are automatically backed up by email submissions as well.

Why Choose Authors' Guardian?

Literary agents collect 15% of their authors’ royalties as their income. That’s standard. If, for instance, the author’s book earned $150,000 in royalties over its lifetime, the agent would take $22,500 of it. Compare that to our one-time fee of $2,985 (paid in stages) and you can see that the potential savings are staggering. Moreover, we don’t charge agent fees. With the Authors’ Guardian program, all the royalties your book earns goes into your pocket; no one else’s. You earned it, you keep it.

Getting Started

Finally – a way to have your manuscript noticed by the right people, and at a cost so low that it seems like a misprint. Clicking the button below will take you to the shopping cart and then on to the submission page where you can tell us about yourself and your new manuscript or non-fiction book idea. The cost, $2,985, is paid in three stages. The first payment ($995.) is made at the start of the program. The second $995. payment is made when the sample book cover has been designed and the submission material is complete. The last payment ($995) is made when the twenty-five publishers and editors have been identified and the material is turned over for delivery.

PS. Because there’s a great deal of talented work involved for us to perform our work for you effectively, we set our fee at $3,985.00. However, since this is a new program, (although we already have a few books under consideration) and we are still pretty much unknown, we decided to make an introductory offering at a $1,000 reduction to gain attention. At the moment, the fee is $2,985 as stated above, subject to increase at any time.
